Super Increase in Kidney Function!,
Let me start by saying that I am not a fan of most teas. I bought this and 2 other Dandelion drinks because a cycle of Creatine protein caused a huge (40 lb), rapid (2 week), water retention. You read that right… I put on 40 lbs of water weight in 2 weeks. I blew up like a balloon!
Creatine is used by athletes for explosive power and fast recovery, but it rapidly degrades into the kidney foe Creatinine. After trying and failing with just about every other (natural) means of stimulating kidney function, I decided to try the lowly Dandelion. Since I don’t use flavorings in my drinks (no sugar, cream, etc), this was a true taste test for each of the 3 products I purchased.
To my surprise, the two other Dandelion products were very unpleasant to consume. They tasted almost medicinal, and a highly rated coffee substitute caused an allergic reaction! Chartreuse Dandelion Detox, on the other hand, was absolutely fresh and delicious – even when brewed super strong.
Best of all, I began losing water weight the first day I drank this tea. In fact, I’VE LOST 5.5 LBS IN 7 DAYS!!! To get these results, I brewed a strong pot of tea everyday (2 tablespoons of tea, in 24 ounces of hot water, steeped for 10 minutes) and drastically reduced the amount of protein in my diet. My overworked kidneys are now happily plowing through the backlog. I’m sure my liver is in tip-top shape too, because this ingenious little tea contains both the leaves and the root of the Dandelion. Win – Win – Win!

I used to drink Dandelion root tea when I lived in London, but had a hard time finding it in the US. Thanks to Chatreuse Tea for creating a yummy blend!

|A Good Detox Tea,
I have been enjoying Chartreuse Teas for three years. Their blends are fantastic, their teas are hand packaged, and the flavors couldn’t be more vivid.
This is nothing like the teabag tea you are used to. You’ll actually see the petals, the berries, the clipped grasses, the small chips of real organic material that, when you soak them in hot water, release their all-natural oils, vitamins and amazing flavors.
Definitely recommended.
